Professional Tutoring Services

Concordia wishes to provide parents/students with the option of tutoring beyond the classroom teacher.  Listed below are professional individuals and companies.  Professional tutoring costs a minimum of $40/hr.  If money is an issue, then contact Mrs. Brennan or Mr. Walter and they may be able to assist you in finding a student tutor at CLHS.  

Math Tutors:

5. Lone Star College Tomball offers "Homework Help" on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4-6 PM in their library for grades 6-12.  For more information, contact Victoria Waters at 832-559-4243.
6. Michael Gold tutors for $50/hour (group rates also available).  He can tutor:  Arithmetic, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, SAT, ACT, THEA, TAKS.  His website is www.mgtutoring.com.  His telephone # is 281-770-2276.

9. Wyzant -- Go to www.wyzant.com to learn more.  A CLHS parent recommended this site.  You get the opportunity to preview profiles and educational backgrounds of tutors through this site.  Parents get to evaluate the lessons of the tutor.
