NHS HOSTING 'HOOPS OF HOPE' FRIDAY, MARCH 12
Hoops of Hope supports children orphaned in Africa who are suffering from AIDS and HIV. The organization has built a school and two medical clinics and has donated medical care kits, mosquito nets and bicycles to the remote regions of Zambia. This year, all donations will go to support a school in Zambia and a care center in Swaziland.

If you are interested in participating in the Hoops of Hope fundraiser, you must have a minimum of $5 in pledges/donations. $50 will be given to participants with the most "hoops" in each sport, the most pledges for each sport, and the NHS member acquiring the most pledges overall.

Donation sheets are available in Mrs. Greene’s room, at the front desk, and online at www.hoopsofhope.org/files/OfflineDonationForm1.pdf.

Participants will be shooting "hoops" at three events: Soccer ("hoops" = penalty kicks), Volleyball ("hoops" = passes/bumps) & Basketball ("hoops" = free throws). Cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones and drinks will be available to purchase.

Date: March 12, 2010

Time: 3:30-5:30

Location: CLHS Gymnasium (Volleyball, Basketball) and Tennis Courts (Soccer)
